River and Sea Kayaking with A hike from the beach into Primary Forest to a Sea-view lookout
We meet at our jungle garden in Punta Uva, where we will set you up with Kayak equipment, and life vests if needed. We will set off from the beach down the road up the Punta Uva River. It’s a tranquil setting where we can see turtles, sloths, toucans, 3 types of monkeys, caimans and iguanas. We will kayak back to Punta Uva beach where, if the seas are calm, we can kayak onto open water and around the point to Arrecife Beach. If the seas are high, or we feel like a walk, we can continue for a hike down the beach and out to the Punta Uva point through primary forest and on to a spectacular lookout. We can prepare a barbecue lunch in the forest of Punta Uva point, and you will have time to go for a swim in the Caribbean Sea.
Jungle Canopy Zipline and Waterfall Adventure
We pick you up in our off-road vehicle and drive through jungle roads to the farm in Carbon 1. You will be trained then guided through 9 exhilarating aerial platforms and 13 ground platforms, flying through a total of 2760 meters of carbon fiber cable, including a Tarzan swing, all immersed in the jungle and surrounded by wildlife. After your adventure in the trees, we drive through jungle mountain roads to arrive at an Indigenous farm with waterfalls, where we can swim, jump, dive, rock climb, or just relax. We will then drive up to the lookout where we prepare and serve lunch with mountain views of the Sixaola River and the Caribbean Sea.
Manzanillo Wildlife Refuge Boat Trip, Jungle Hike and Off-the-grid Farm Tour
We pick you up in our off-road vehicle and drive to Manzanillo, where we we meet our local boat captain and set off on his panga boat around the coast to a remote beach, taking in the view of the area from the sea. We dock the boat on the beach, and hike through the trees up to an off-the-grid farm in the jungle. There we take a walk through primary forest and see old growth trees and then enjoy a barbecue lunch cooked on an open wood fire, including local ingredients we forage from the farm. After lunch, we walk back down to the beach to enjoy a swim in the Caribbean Sea, before our captain picks us up to enjoy a leisurely boat ride back to Manzanillo.
*If you love hiking (and we do), we can start off with a long walk through the jungle to the off-the-grid farm, with the return trip by boat.

Kids and Family Kayak Tour
We will meet at our bamboo rancho and mini playground in our jungle garden where I will teach you about the unique plants and animals of the area. We will make some natural insect repellent and get to taste some herbs and vegetables in the garden.
Next we will walk approximately five minutes to Punta Uva beach where our kayaks will be waiting for us by the Punta Uva river. If we are lucky, we might spot a sloth or family of monkeys on our way. We have single and double adult kayaks as well as kid specific kayaks for children under 13 (up to 120 pounds). We will practice with the kids where the river meets the beach, getting them comfortable with the children's kayaks, building up their confidence and teaching them basic technique.
Then we will set off up the river into the jungle where we will look for sloths, turtles, iguanas, toucans and up to three different species of monkeys. If the kids get tired at any point, I have ropes ready to tie the children's kayaks to the back of the parent’s kayak so they can relax and enjoy the ride.
After our journey up river, we will paddle back to the beach then walk back to the garden to enjoy a snack of fresh tropical fruit and pipa (young coconut) water.
